Cindy Haskin-Popp is a Clinical Exercise Specialist certified by the American College of Sports Medicine. She has a Bachelor's degree in Health Fitness and Disease Prevention from Central Michigan University and a Master's of Science degree in Exercise Science from Oakland University. She has worked in a hospital setting as an Exercise Physiologist, developing exercise prescriptions for cardiac rehabilitation patients and advising them on appropriate lifestyle change for better health. Besides professional and educational training, Haskin-Popp has also had to practice what she preaches, staying fit while juggling her schedule and the schedules of her three children, who are in elementary school.
